Christine, not sure if you remember me from the mission but I hired you ... I look at your blog from time to time and I read you "ps" post. It was very timely because my husband and I want to adopt two children one from Russia or Ukraine and the other one domestically...we are seriously considering fostering a child here in NC. I just think that I will have so many questions when it comes time and I would LOVE an open honest opinion about what children expect and want from a foster/adoption....besides the obvious things like love, consistency, a healthy family environment....ect.
