If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Happy 5th Anniversary, my sweet husband.  This fifth year has been my favorite year, although filled with many ups and downs. I keep learning more about you and more about myself, and now we've entered into a most precious season: parenthood.

I love your wisdom and patience, your "smarts" and teachable spirit, your excitement in being a father, your desire to become a better and better husband, your spiritual disciplines, your sense of humor and how you love to sing along with the radio.  I love it that you can say "I'm sorry", and also "stop being so stubborn!".

I love that we married at 21 and 24 years old and in so many ways "grew up" together and have so much in common... and when we're watching the news or hear some stories we almost always have the same opinion.  I also love that when we don't have the opinion, we try to convince each other to change our minds.

You're my best friend.

Thank you for marrying me!
Thanks for taking out the trash.
I love you so much.
Please don't ever realize that you could have done better!!!

In case you're all wondering, to celebrate 5 wonderful years we drove to Wilmington Beach and fished off the pier all day long, then had buffalo wings for dinner!  Pictures coming soon.
