If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

I'll be home for Christmas

An extraordinary change of heart has happened in the last four months.  When we arrived back in America after a three year- long absence I found myself saying "I'm NEVER going back to China".

I had already missed the birth of three of my nephews and countless other events... and what kind of mother takes her daughter away from her doting grandparents, sweet aunts and uncles, adoring cousins and Chick-fil-A?

But mourning the loss of being next-door to family has ended, and I'm filled with joy knowing that I'll be putting up my scraggly fake Christmas tree on the other side of the world in 19 days.

I never thought that a person could go from hating China to missing it in such a short time, but I guess that's how it is no matter where you make your home!

Oh! I miss you! And am so excited for you to get back! I love knowing you'll be there, in that place I love! And once you are, and you're settled... a skype date is very necessary to be scheduled. :)
