Joelle loves bath time, and so do I, because it is about 20 minutes of silly, splashy, screeching, giggling entertainment for me.
We do not have a bath tub (most Chinese homes don't even have room for a bathtub in their bathroom and actually shower standing over the squatty potty.. which doubles as a drain), so we bought this miniature bathtub and set it inside our utility sink!
Joelle also loves brushing her teeth. She first discovered a tooth brush when she pulled it out of my travel bag in America, and I let her chew on the rubbery end since she was teething. Now every morning when I pick her up out of her crib she does the "brush teeth" sign and grunts and bounces until I get the toothpaste on the brush and give it to her! My favorite incident with the toothbrush so far has been her trying to brush the dogs teeth. Lets just say I had to throw that toothbrush away.
Joelle still loves her dog. I tried to show her how to throw the rope to the dog, but she insists on walking up and handing it to her. The problem is, Joelle doesn't let go of the rope and Adrian takes this as an invitation to play tug of war. She ends up making Joelle wiggle and shake until one of them drops the rope. Joelle screams and laughs and stomps her feet like she just can't stand how funny it is to be jiggled by the dog!
Joelle loves sitting with the dog, too. The dog, however... well. You see the look on her face.
