If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Duke Gardens with the Skaars

So goofy.

While we were with my mom and dad, we did all sorts of things. We celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! For Halloween, we just bought a pumpkin. For Thanksgiving, we cooked a turkey and pie and mashed potatoes and relish...I burned my hand on the gravy and had a good cry. But that's nothing compared to my Dad's wound. He and some buddies were carrying a copier and someone dropped their end.... my dad's index finger took the punishment. He got about 8 stiches! ouch! For Christmas, we all had the Skaar traditional tea with breakfast ( we didn't open presents, though... we'll wait for the actual day for all that).
It was so much fun!
We went to Duke Gardens and enjoyed the ponds and the flowers... and took the 'almost perfect' picture (above) except that my face is washed out by the sunlight. oh well!
