My brother, who lives in Alaska, sent me an email the other day. I couldn't resist sharing it:
"Loki and I and doing great, the snow is melting and Loki loves the mud puddles! Especially right after a nice bath. The bears are awake and chasing the dog, its a new experience. A little unsettling when he comes howling and hauling (bleep) past you and then a big ol black bear comes barreling in his wake! Never a dull moment with him around."
Look to the left in the picture... do you see a small black lab? That's Loki!Things to do before visiting Alaska:
1. Practice running really fast
2. Learn to shoot a gun
3. Learn which bear to run from and which bear to play dead for (I can never remember- brown or black, brown or black???)
