The other night we went to a fantastic Mexican restaurant. Joelle was wearing her adorable, hand embroidered onesie from my friend Emma. She was looking so cute until a huge blob of chili con queso jumped off my tortilla chip and splattered all over the (of course) WHITE onsie. I hurried to take off her onsie and my mom hurried to the bathroom and washed it all out- I couldn't even tell where it had landed! I had a change of clothes in the diaper bag- but I wasn't going to risk it until the chili con queso was safely in my tummy. So until the end of the meal, we were CLASS- A- REDNECKS!
Poor Joelle... her Mom is already embarrassing her in public.
Below I'm chilling with Joelle in Starbucks. I have to say something about the jeans in this picture. We found a fantastic little store that carries popular American brands (Abercrombie, Hollister, J. Crew etc) but the prices are marked way way down. These Hollister jeans were $10!! These were the only pair in my size, and they only had them in long, so I bought them anyway. They are a good 4 inches too long but it was worth it... and I can get them hemmed just about anywhere! I'm also wearing a $5 J. Crew shirt! Yahtzee!
This was an easy day taking Joelle out because I had pumped enough milk that morning to be able to feed her a full feeding from the bottle. No fumbling with the nursing cover, no leaking mishaps and no screaming baby while trying to position everything!
Don't worry, Joelle, I'm getting better!
Have I mentioned before how much I LOVE motherhood??? She's so precious!
