If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

It's beginning to look a little like Christmas...

Since we're living in Thailand now, it's easy to forget that Christmas is right around the corner.  We hemmed and hawed and contemplated buying the things we need to make it feel more Christmassy; at first we thought why spend the money? but then the closer it came, the more depressing it was to not have a single decoration in the house.

So we got a little creative, and for about $30 we got a 2 foot tree, some candy canes, 2 ornaments, and some arts and crafts things to make the rest of the red and green decor!

The first ornament we bought for Joelle.(above)  We also bought a golden carousel horse!

We bought red and green paper and made our own little paper chain....

Dad and Scott assembled the tiny tree...

I nursed Joelle while watching the festivities!

Mom finished the feeding with a bottle so I could join in the decorating fun!

I'm trying to put a little stuffed reindeer on top of the tree...

We ended up tying it's hands together with a rubber band, and it looks like he's holding onto the tree for "deer" life. hahahaha funny pun.
We also bought different sized styrofoam balls and googly eyes to make snowmen.  I put eyelashes on mine to make a snow lady...she also has a fluffy yarn scarf. She's fancy.
Scott's silly snowman has a Merry Christmas tattoo on his chest.

Scott's mom and dad sent 4 packages with Christmas presents!!  They included stockings for Scott, me and Joelle- aren't they cute?

This will be our 3rd Christmas oversees and without family.  (My mom and dad are leaving Thailand on the 24th) but we don't sing the blues too much because we're getting used to it, and thank goodness for Skype!
