
I forgot to take a picture of the beans after they were cooked... sorry! But here's how I made them. I dumped two small cans of Bush's Baked Beans into a small glass casserole dish, added about 2 teaspoons of dry mustard, a squirt of ketchup, a tablespoon of molasses, about 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper and some bacon on top. I baked it in the oven until the sides were all bubbly and the bacon was cooked. YUM!
Everything in this recipe had to be bought in the Big City except brown sugar and black pepper... so this common southern dish isn't seen too often here in Boone :-)
