On Friday Scott decided to take a day at the coffee shop to study the good book and catch up on some business, so I thought I'd stay home and make a yummy home-cooked meal. I ended up making a ton of dishes and at the end of the day I was exhausted but very pleased to be surrounded by some good ol American cuisine.
I made Tomato Basil Soup, Baked Beans, Scalloped Potatoes, and Angel Biscuits for dinner with Potato chips and Jalapeno Poppers for an appetizer and Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert... ALL from scratch. I had such a fun day in the kitchen. I put all the recipes and directions in case they catch your fancy!
