If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Mirror Mirror On the Wall

.....I am my father, after all.

My dad is a very very funny man- but bless his soul he will tell a joke over and over, as long as he gets a laugh... which I loved as a kid!! In fact, when I was nine years old and we met for the first time he pretended like he was going to sit on me. I cracked up! So he did it again- and I laughed again! He continued to act like he was going to sit on me and my brother until my mother's famous words: "tsk, oh Anders!" and he stopped and sat beside us.

*SIGH* I've turned into my father. Here in our little city, every Asian person asks us "Where are you from?". When we only knew a little language we always answered "Mei guo" (America)
Now that we've got a years worth of language under our belt we always look surprised and say, "Wo men shi Zhong Guo ren!!" ("We're Chinese people!")
They say "Bu Ke neng!" (Impossible!)
Finally we say "Kai wan xiao" (Just kidding)
The looks of surprise followed by a laugh are priceless.... so I do it every day.

Not only that, but I have another joke I tell over and over.

Recently people have been asking us how many children we have- so one day I said "We have five!"
They say "FIVE?"
I say, "Yeah... but none of them have come yet." hahaha hee hee hahahaha
AGAIN, as long as I get a laugh, I'll be sure to tell it at least one more time.

Is that the habit you hoped I'd pick up on, Dad? HAHA!!
