New this week: webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his 'tail' is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming bout your baby as one sex or another, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby- about the size of a kidney bean- is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it. - babycenter.com
Our kidney bean has wanted lots of fruit lately! Cherries, strawberries, watermelon and bananas make up most of this mommy's diet. I'm still quite sick- and the morning sickness is lasting long into the day- even up until midnight!- but I've had two days of no nausea where I was able to bake some dinner rolls and an apple pie (that is too tart!). My weirdest craving this week: Belgium waffles. But alas, there is no IHOP within a million miles of us! If you are willing to ship some waffles (no whipped cream, please), I will pay the shipping costs!
By the way, I DO crave pickles, but I don't consider this a "pregnancy related craving" because as my parents and Emily can attest, I can eat a whole jar in one sitting and I'll even drink the juice if no one stops me. hahaha Also this week I've lost another pound- but I'm not complaining because whereas now my jeans won't stay up on my hips, I know soon- they won't button at all.
Names we're considering:
Linda Hand, Anita Hand, Ophelia Hand, and Shanna
Worst reaction to our pregnancy news this week:
"I guess I should say 'Congratulations' but having children is a strange concept for me."
Wost advice given regarding our pregnancy this week:
"When you and your family go to the Great Wall, you shouldn't go with them. Just wait for them at the bottom. You can't walk up stairs when you are pregnant."

HAHAHA I LOVE Ophelia. THAT is amazing- which one of you came up with that name?
What about Ima?
And yes, you and I both are pickle cravers. And sadly, yes, pickle juice drinkers. Remember that time we swung in your back yard bench swing with mugs of pickle juice? Aaaaahhhhh... the good times :)
