Today is Christine's birthday!!! She's a whopping 25 years old. In honor of her birthday most people would create a list of "25 Reasons Why I Love You", or "25 Things I Love About You"; but I'm going the other way. Below are "25 Ways I'm a Better Person for Marrying Christine."
1) I now hang my pants on the back of the door instead of throwing them on the ground.
2) I can cook, (some things)
3) I love our dog (and most every other dog)
4) I can appreciate musicals (especially The Music Man)
5) I know what an Appaloosa is.
6) I know where better fishing holes are in Raleigh.
7) I don't wear the same underwear for more than two days in a row.
8) I'm more sensitive.
9) I appreciate the blessing that adoption really is...
10) ...and have a better understanding of the miracle that took place when I was adopted into God's family.
11) I know what it's like to be married to your best friend.
12) I've seen "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken."
13) I'm more sympathetic when I see a homeless or disabled man.
14) I'm fatter, (because she can cook so well)
15) I laugh more.
16) I appreciate my Mom more.
17) I drink more Starbucks :)
18) I pray more.
19) I know what it's like to be proud of someone.
20) I can appreciate piano music.
21) I have much more respect for people that work in homeless shelters.
22) I don't leave the toilet seat up.
23) I know which fork to eat with first.
24) I'm going to be a father in 5 short months.
25) I know what it feels like to be deeply loved by a wonderful, godly woman.
