In the morning I had class, but we ended early and they all helped me make biscuits for Scott's birthday brunch. They thought it was so interesting to use measuring cups and wear an apron!
Then my students and I whispered our plans to surprise Scott that night (although I told Scott what we were up to) -we met at the top of Fung Huan mountain and they surprised him with gifts!
John's dad runs a Muslim Restaurant that we often go to- so his gift to Scott was his favorite beef dish!
Emily bought him a little decoration that has "Happy Birthday" engraved on it- and it lights up!
And Lindy drew him a picture of a bakery- with birthday cakes in the window! Cute, or what?
The next day we had peach cobbler instead of birthday cake (you have to get creative when you run out of butter :-)
I always tease Scott for being 4 years older than me and now he's pouting because he's getting closer to 30, but Scott I value your maturity both in age and in personality and I only call you my "old man" because you make a really cute sad face when I do. hee hee
Happy Birthday to my sweet and wonderful husband!!! I can't wait to celebrate correctly in Thailand with a dinner at Outback and hopefully a round of golf!
