If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Dog command gone wrong

Our friends often want to know how we got our dog to be so well trained. So we explain the phases of training and how to reward her when she does well.

Our friend, Ron, REALLY wanted to try his hand at dog training. I explained to put the treat in his closed fist, make the "sit down" sign for her and say "Adrian, SIT." And if she is obedient, open your hand and let her eat the treat.

I have to interject here that Ron's English is really great- but he still has difficulty with some pronunciations.

He put the treat in his hand, made the "sit down" sign with his and yelled, "Adrian SH*T!"

Scott and I first exploded in laughter and Ron just looked at the dog, who was thankfully not doing either of the commands and said "Oh, she doesn't listen to me."

Whew.
