If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Things to do in Hong Kong: Starbucks

For those of you who don't know, we consider Starbucks to be one of the greater joys of life. There aren't any Starbucks around for hundreds of miles where we live, so when we went to Thailand we unashamedly gorged ourselves... and in Hong Kong... lets just say we had a caffeine buzz the entire time!

In America, we treated ourselves about twice a week (great place for a lets-just-talk-date) and of course, sometimes money was tight and we only had Mr. Coffee at home. It may sound silly to some, but having Starbucks when we're so far from home gives us a little tingle in the heart from the familiarity.
Scott is reading the back of the Starbucks cup... it was about the 'Ten-Second Rule". Apparently Starbucks uses every shot of espresso within 10 seconds or they throw it out!

I love this picture below because it takes you a second to figure out what's going on. The picture below was taken at a Starbucks inside an 18 story mall called Mega Box in Kowloon Bay (that's right... 18 stories. That's not a typo!) Across from the shop was a wall of mirrors, so we took a picture of our reflection. Next to us is a huge tear dropped shape sculpture (how is that thing not falling over??)

We had too much fun with the reflections here! The picture below is of our reflection in the tear-drop sculpture seen above. We got to giggling so hard, we made the shop owners crack a smile.

HaHA!
